I remember reading this story about this family that goes to the beach and a bear follows them home. Kids book?

I know it sounds silly, a bear at the beach. But I remember I loved that story and I lost the book and I cannot find it anywhere, I couldn’t even find anything online… Someone please help me out here.

    Sounds kind of like Paddington Bear but he followed the family home from the train station.
