Super Cardio II

Chris Krueger shows you how to develop speed and acceleration using the Krueger One-Hundred’s workout. Krueger 100’s are great for building anaerobic endurance and cardio conditioning.

Krueger 100’s tutorial. On a 100 yard grass course:
a. Start in a 3 point stance
b. Burst 40 yards at top speed
c. coast 20 yards
d. Reaccelerate and finish at top speed
f. Run through the finish line
e. Walk back to the starting line.
f. Pause for a moment
g. Get back in your 3 point stance and start again!
h. Repeat for a total of ten 100 yard runs.
i. The entire workout should only take 5-6 minutes

Speed ladder drills are great for developing speed, quickness, agility coordination and balance. It’s also very effective interval, anaerobic and cardiovascular training, which is great for burning fat and getting shredded.

    AWESOME! Krueger 100’s are super tough! There is def gonna be a new program… It’ll probably be based on hitting big numbers in the most basic lifts and doing some speed work as well.

    PS: I just invented something called Krueger 55’s, they are rediculous!

    just did the krueger 100’s for week 3 of OAM, and loved them. after the first two i could tell my ability to reaccelerate was all but gone. this was a great cardio my lungs were burning as much as my legs, probably didn’t help that it was 49 degrees here in wisconsin when i ran. i am loving the OAM program Chris. you better start another program so i have something new to dominate when in am done!

    I’ve been watching …
    I’ve been watching your video’s as to see the differences between my workout and yours,

    my workout is slightly different, here’s one instance: our 3 cone drill is changed to star drill its about the same just more agility less cardio

    and another one is this, we do the same but with a tire behind us to make it quite a bit more difficult,

    the reason ours is changed up to be a little to make it a little more intense for football,
    and 4/5 of ur agi drills i’ve seen are the standard for football.

    In general, you want to do intervals that include running as fast as possible (probably over 15 miles per hour). Get the Heart of a Champion Program and start doing “4th Quarter Cardio” as well as Super Cardio I and II

    so yeah right, someone who said “nobody is perfect” never met you, i agree. You are super hot with super hot body. My friend has lost a lot of weight since 2 years his waist is now 28 inches while i am at 32 it sucks, he has asked me to start running at 9mph instead of 6-7mph which i usually do, do you think that will help?.. I want to lose all fat from my tummy.

    It’s important to have some sugar after your workout. I recommend an orange, apple, or banana.

    Also, HIIT does not strip your body of muscle. Actually it develops your anaerobic conditioning so that your weight training sessions are more effective.

    You need to build muscle and burn fat. HIIT Cardio is very effective but you also need to train with free weights.

    and the reason i ask is because everytime i do a sprints or any interval training after i have caught my breath i feel like i have done nothing and that i can go some more and this is why i want to do it along with lifting because i will usually stay about 2 hours at the gym and then do cardio so please let me know thanks
